I don't recommend Dating.com
Honestly I don’t recommend this place. It is super expensive and I still gave it a chance I initially planned stay for some months and then move conversation outside. Members said only dating.com. I asked dating.com they said I needed to give them time. I did I stayed for 1 year. And when I tried moving conversation outside members told me they can’t talk outside unless I have paid for a minimum of 3 or more years. Another member also told me when the time came and we actually met I would still need to pay Dating.com to chat with him.

The second i signed up i get a ton of love letters and people telling me i look amazing when i don’t even have a picture :)) all speak in cheesy slogans clearly not written just to you. “no matches” in my area, who knows where they are. I noticed that the writing style of the messages is coincidentally similar to each other. They are also too articulate, which is consistent with pre-empted motives, like they’ve been scripted to maximise opportunities for replies, and therefore money garnering. I’d requested to have my profile deleted and apparently their 24/7 support is struggling to do that, and the robots keep messaging. So they don’t read your profile at all as I wrote on mine that the site is a scam and want my profile deleted. I also couldn’t delete my pics as I wished, which is something I’m furious about.Do NOT engage with Dating.com.

After spending several hundred dollars, I asked him if we could continue talking on a free platform or exchange personal email or phone number. What I don’t get in this dating.com not one of the unpopular members are active only the popular one are active 24/7. They do it so you can only talk to popular members and none of them willing to chat somewhere else all of them have one word “that’s rushing things” they just want you to keep buying credit while not one of the people you don’t have to pay to talk to them are responsive it’s like they just photocopy to make it seem this is legit when it’s not. I signed up for this site- Stupid me! Is draining your money – pay for chats, emails and all the profiles are fakes. Since the members are 24/7 active/online I believe they are just customer service of the dating.com sending messages. I received the same email from two different members. Awful unacceptable service. I have been overcharged more than once by the site. The fraud investigation was initiated by my bank, site did not cooperate to request of investigation, reconciliation of the invoices. They just refused to present the invoices reflecting corresponding purchase of credits. Customer service is never there to respond.

Don't waste your money on this scam.
I hated to even give this site a one star. This is a total waste of money. When you get ready to cancel your subscription, you will get all kinds of “she’s into you” or “she likes you”, or “she wants to meet you”. When you reply, Absolutely no response back. I got more responses in the last few days of my subscription than I did the whole month. I’ve tried this site about 4 times in the last couple of years and have gotten nothing. My pics are all current and my story is true. This site is a joke. I started to wonder if some of this women are even real or are paid to keep their pics and stories on the site to entice men with BS. Don’t waste your money on this scam.

Never happened
Signed up and paid for a one month subscription. Within 24 hours, my account was locked out. I called and was told I would receive an email from their technical department within 24-48 hours. Never happened. Called again and promised again. Nothing happened. Several more calls and told by each rep they couldn’t see the issue with my account and I had to wait for an email. At the second week, I called and was told the problem would be rectified by the end of the day. Not trusting that answer, I waited until 90 minutes before they closed for the weekend to call again.

Joined because it was supposedly in the top ten dating sites. 99% are fake profiles. Immediately get lots of likes, all from Sydney, no where near me. The matches & likes you get are all handsome guys that are never found in the search. All widows or widowers that still want kids! I was looking in the over 50’s-60’s range. The ones that do make contact immediately want you to go off site to WhatsApp or similar. It’s a complete money rip off & should be shut down. I cancelled my membership within two weeks. One thing I have learnt is to read the reviews beforehand, I would never have joined up.

Dating.com is not completely a fraudulent dating site but it is grossly manipulative. The naive women on the site (some are bots, I have proof), have obviously been told to keep chatting and emailing men who contact them to run up charges. And after a few chats they never appear online again making your contact a complete waste of time (and money). I count 30+ women who have made no attempt to reconnect with me later on.The site BLOCKS any email exchange or attempt to give contact number (even if you spell out the numbers). Each women is told (threatened?) not to go outside to any other site via Whatsapp or any other social network. I suspect many are on the payroll. I’m sure the Malta-based company will deny it.Perhaps after spending hundreds or thousands of dollars you may get lucky if you visit the country of a woman to meet. Oh and the phony ones who claim to be located in the USA are not, I have proof.The on-phone customer service folks do the best they can but you can tell they are uneasy explaining how it all works or how it rips men off. They cover the devious people who created such an exploitative application.I intend to demand a full refund for the money I spent and wasted. The time I wasted is my loss. Next I’ll notify Google, Apple, Yahoo, AOL and every other search engine about this ripoff site and the ads they run on each.I hope as many men read this as possible and go elsewhere for dating sites.

Often when I pay for any subscription, I immediately cancel it so that I won’t get rebilled. Virtually every website lets you do that and lets you enjoy the benefits of the subscription for the amount of time that you have paid for. But not Dating.com. If you cancel then you lose all benefits. I didn’t realize that and I logged in and submitted the billing information again and was charged twice for the same period within 2 days. After dealing with Dating.com customer service, they agreed to give me a prorated refund, but not the full amount. That is utterly sleazy.
